January 2, 2013
Ryan, Dana and Piper came down for lunch. We had a delicious meal at Escalantes and then walked around the shopping center. Piper enjoyed carrying my wallet around and shopping at Carter's. We picked up a few new outfits for my nephew, Braddock, who is scheduled to arrive in April. Piper is at such a fun age. Before they left we stopped and had a cupcake. Yum!
January 1, 2013
I am going to try and do a year in pictures again. It is a great time to do it since it is the beginning of the new year. I hope I can keep up with it. I am hoping to create a book at the end of the year. First pic is of my decision to do Bikram Yoga. My friend Kelly took me to a class over Thanksgiving. My first experience was so so. It is really hard and HOT! I got a groupon so decided to do try it again. I have done it twice this week. I have adjusted to the heat but still need some work on the poses.

Notre Dame Marathon
I know it has been a month. But to get straight to the point, my life is boring. It is hard to take a picture everyday of something that might be interesting. The trip to Notre Dame went well. We traveled all day Friday and got a little lost on our drive from Chicago to South Bend. It is amazing how many people can not give you directions in their own town when you ask them. Saturday was the marathon. There was only 700 marathon runners so it was very small. It was very humid and lots of bugs. I think I swallowed about 10 and they kept sticking to my sweat. Yuck! I saw this man with a Houston shirt on so I talked to him for about 3 miles. I thought for sure I was going to beat by best time but at about mile 23 my quads began to tighten up and I was struggling. I finsihed in 5 hours and 1 minute. As soon as I was done it started to rain, so I was very lucky. After the marathon we grabbed a bite to eat, went to the bookstore, and went to a local minor league baseball game. We headed back on Sunday. Every time I stand there at the start line and say to myself what did I get myself into but once I am done I can't wait to do it again. I want to thank my Dad for going with me and for supporting me. I love you Dad! P.S. That is what I ate after I was finished. Excluding an Awesome Blossom, some rolls and an amazing chocolate dipped ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. BLISS! :)

Mother's Day (13)

Sunday was the day to celebrate my mom. I joined her for church and then we went to lunch with the rest of the family. I am so blessed that she is my mother. I am so grateful for all the things she has done for me. It is so Awesome to have such a wonderful friend. At times we may disagree but we eventually laugh it off and think how stupid we were to agure. I love you MOM!
Kemah (12)

Saturday I went down to Kemah to eat at the Aquarium. The food is pretty good, but a little on the pricey side. There were lots of families and prom dresses. I guess a local high school was having their prom and that was the place to eat. Oh, how I do remember those days. After we ate, we rode the rollercoaster. First off, I barely fit into the seat. Thank goodness I lost 100 pounds. The ride was very rough and afterwards it felt like somebody had beaten me up. It was great to be a kid again!
Friday Night Girls Night (11)

Please bare with me. I am having technical diffcuties at home with my computer and have not been able to upload. I was hoping to get a picture everyday but have not been able to keep up or nothing has been going on. Friday night I hung out with the girls from work. We ate nachos, had manicures and played Rock Band. It has been a lot of fun getting to know them and working with them. We have kind of made it a Friday night tradition. This week we decided to do a healthier menu.
